About Us
Prior to the creation of RbM Services, members of RbM’s senior staff worked diligently to make Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanners to clinical reality. This work resulted in invaluable expertise in cyclotrons, radioisotope imaging tracer chemistry devices, and delivery systems. Collectively, RbM Services has comprehensive knowledge in the nuclear and X-ray medical fields. Our quality and regulatory knowledge save RbM customers time and money as they go through safety and regulatory processes and transition into the marketplace. From guiding you through preliminary activities to acting upon your well-established plans, our staff can assist you – regardless of where you are on your journey.
The RbM Services team is proud to call Oak Ridge, Tennessee home. Being close to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) complex and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville provides RbM ready access to technical expertise, a world-renowned scientific community, and a technically skilled workforce made up of internationally recognized professionals. Our Leadership
Jim O'Hatnick
Jim is a founder and the Vice President of Operations at RbM Services. With over 37 years of work in the medical device field, Jim is well-versed in all things development. He has experience in manufacturing management including the implementation of LEAN manufacturing techniques. Similarly, Jim has expertise in the installation and service of various devices such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanners, cyclotrons, infusion systems, and Gamma radiation detectors. Jim has also had roles as Product Manager and Regulatory and Quality Assurance management.
Jim has a degree in Electronics Technology from Ohio Institute of Technology and has had various other courses in electrical and civil engineering, radiation detection and measurement, programming, and business.
Clif Moyers
Clif joined RbM Services as President in 2004 after a 17-year career in research and development leadership roles at CTI PET Systems (acquired by Siemens Molecular Imaging), a leader in the technology development and commercialization of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanners and PET radioisotope production and distribution products. Clif has experience in numerous medical device entrepreneurial endeavors including angel investment support, concept commercialization, and early-adopter product handhold.
Clif holds Electrical Engineering degrees from the University of Tennessee. He is named as the inventor on 10 patents and has co-authored several peer-reviewed technical papers.
Tarah Bolas
With over 20 years of experience in medical devices, Tarah has directed Quality & Regulatory Affairs and Radiation Safety at RbM since 2006. Tarah’s work has been vital in assisting RbM’s customers with device design and development (with an emphasis on verification and validation), design transfer to manufacturing, and domestic and international device clearance. Prior to RbM, Tarah was in Quality and Regulatory Affairs at CTI, Inc., which was later purchased by Siemens and became Siemens Molecular Imaging.
Tarah has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Jesse O’Hatnick
Jesse, RbM’s Vice President of Operations and Business Development, has spent the past 10 years working in purchasing, production, project management, and inventory control. His passion is in providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to our customers. In his spare time, Jesse likes to explore the world’s wild places. Jesse also enjoys encouraging RbM staff to stay active and healthy outside the office.
Jesse has a degree in Business Management with a minor in Finance from East Tennessee State University.
Will Draney
Will grew up in Norris, Tennessee and began his career as an electrician. He was first hired by RbM Services as a Field Service Engineer, and then transitioned to a Product Support Technical Specialist. Later, he became one of RbM’s Manufacturing Engineer and has most recently transitioned into his Product/Project Manager role. Will lives in Knoxville, Tennessee and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Will has a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Della Ricche
Della holds degrees in Radiologic Technology and Biology.
Scott Lambert
Scott came from Northeast Ohio to RbM as the Production Manager and brings 40 years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing, including production, sourcing, planning, ERP system implementations, acquisition, and quality systems.
When not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and adult sons, playing disc golf, hiking, kayaking, and just about any other outdoor activity.
Scott has a degree in Business Management along with APICS and Lean Manufacturing Certifications
Amber VanGrol
Amber is the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager. Prior to RbM, she has had 12+ years of experience in the Medical Device manufacturing environment. Her focus on problem-solving and attention to detail assist the team in producing and releasing the highest quality and compliant devices, as well as aid in continuous improvement to the products and Quality Systems.
Amber has a Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Albany.
Ron Cacherio
Ron is the Engineering Manager at RbM Services. Ron has more than 25 years of engineering experience working in the East Tennessee region in both Electrical and Systems Engineering. His early career endeavors include instrumentation, data collection systems, and signal processing in the government sector. A growing interest in Systems Engineering lead to nine years at CTI PET Systems; starting as an entry level engineer and rising to Manager of Systems Engineering as the company was acquired by Siemens Molecular Imaging. While at CTI PET Systems, Ron’s contributions included requirements management, remote diagnostics, IEC safety testing, production test development, field support of prototypes, and project management. Ron then joined Daxor Corporation as Electrical Engineer Manager and Project Manager leading the development of a Blood Volume Analyzer (an FDA registered medical device) and overseeing the operations of the radiopharmaceuticals manufacturing facility. Ron enjoys the beauty of the outdoors, often boating on the East Tennessee lakes, home projects and time with family.
Ron has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
